Teaching
Below are descriptions of undergraduate courses I have taught, as well as a list of courses for which I have been a teaching assistant.
Learning & Memory - This course covered basic issues and research concerned with human memory. This included both practical aspects of memory as well as theoretical concerns. The course covered many of the classic issues in the study of memory as well as new developments. At the end of the course students should have an understanding of the basic principles of memory, experimental methods and data used to come up with those principles, as well as the importance of memory to other fields of inquiry.
Human Performance - In this course, we examined the perceptual, motor, and intellectual capacities and limitations of the human brain, including discussions of the neural bases of these capacities, the role of attention, the flow of information within the nervous system, and applications of performance principles to human-machine systems and clinical populations. In addition, this course covered many mathematical descriptions of human performance.
Courses for which I have been a teaching assistant:
Learning & Memory
Perception
Brain Mechanisms of Behavior
Cognition
